Derek and Minnie came up to spend Memorial Day weekend here in SB. We did our best at fitting in as much as possible. Saturday began with the Farmer's Market, followed by a tennis match and topped off with a family BBQ. On Sunday, Derek and Minnie golfed while the rest of us relaxed. I spent the day transferring family videos to DVD ~ we all had an incredible time reliving the boys' growing up years (often crying because we were laughing so hard) and then headed out on the town for a sushi dinner. Monday, we enjoyed breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe followed by a walk on the beach. We continued to work off breakfast with another tennis match. The weekend was capped off by Kelly cooking a delicious tonkatsu dinner.
Long weekends filled with a lot of family time doesn't get any better than this!! Can't wait to do it all over again!!
