This past Saturday, we lost two of our dearest compadres, Alan Shapiro and his beloved dog, Sable. Ally and Sable were family to us.
Ally lived life the way we all should... to the fullest! He was opinionated (an understatement by far), was such a kid, had an enormous heart, was always there for his friends... and this man, he had rhythm and soul.
Sable was THE ONLY canine companion that Koko loved to play with. Koko brought out the puppy in Sable and we all loved watching her come into the house and walk around and squeak every one of Koko's many toys.
The Sopranos have ended their run on TV (Michael always said Ally was a Soprano) ... and now Ally has ended his run on our planet. We will all now have to resort to the re-runs in our own heads of the times we spent with him. His time with us was too short. We thank you Ally for showing us all the spirit with which we should live life!! Ally and Sable ~ we love you and will miss you!!! We will always carry you in our hearts.
