In the midst of running back and forth to the kiln yesterday, Michael and I had the opportunity to make some bowls. Michael centered the clay onto the wheel and I shaped the bowls. Today, we went back to school and Michael trimmed and I finished cleaning and perfecting our new clay pieces. Too bad we couldn't make a living making bowls ~ it's pretty darn fun!

Today, we went and loaded the kiln full of the students' projects. We
only have to check it another two, or three times during the day!

Every day this week, I have come in to work to a surprise gift at my
desk. Today, I was feted with fresh yummy scones and warm homemade applesauce! Quite a birthday week, thanks to all my dear friends. It's no wonder I love DP!
