Skiing June Mountain ~ Day 2

Although it's hard to tell from the first photo, if you look hard enough you can see a minuscule snowflake in my hair. Today did not start out sunny like yesterday. As a matter of fact, it was downright chilly! The cold wind was blowin' and as you can see from Michael's attire, the ride up the lift was enough to make you batten down the hatches ~ snow flurries a flyin'!! It was colder today, but we'd have to say, we had more fun than yesterday!! And it's not over yet... tonight, we head to Convict Lake for dinner! This trip keeps getting better and better!!

Spring Skiing!

The top of June Mountain

It was beautiful today at June Mountain! The wind had died down and the sun was shining bright!! The skiers and snowboarders were few and far between when we started out this morning.
Michael and I are lucky enough to have Bob join us for our ski venture. Many thanks to both Michael and Bob for being such good sports and patient instructors! Here's to more fun tomorrow!!

The Gull Lake Lodge

Today is Michael and my first day of spring break. Oh, were we ready for it! We drove up to June Mountain ~ a whole different place in the winter, but just as gorgeous! It is EXTREMELY windy and 44 degrees at 4:30p.m. Tomorrow, we hope to hit the mountain and get in some quality ski time. It's been sixteen years for me and not quite as long for Michael.
Here is to SPRING BREAK!! YEA!!!
